![]() ![]() For that matter, food you make does the same thing (deletes from the plate) if added to the gallery or library in a room, but it can be saved in a lot. Plus some just disappear - both food and liquid contents. Also after a short time of live play a number of items are 'dirty'/have the green fumes. I've found that various items that have food on them in debug almost always no longer have the food once they're saved to the library/gallery and placed in-game. What kind of plate are you placing? Can you list some specifics, or show screenshots of them? Can you list some specific items, where you're placing them, and what they're doing that you don't expect. The exception that I found is that I could save Ambrosia in a room and it placed without deleting: not sure what you're referring to.Food for the themed room from that forum:.Forum comment that includes workaround directions:.You're welcome to download my food for part of the dishes you may want, but you'll have to follow the 'workaround' directions A lot of work for food, but maybe not if you don’t have a sim with the cooking skills. Use or refrigerate the food right away, though, or it will go bad. So… you can download the lot with the food, have one sim move out and buy the lot with the food room put the food in their personal inventory, bulldoze and sell the lot, then have them move back in. This seems to be the only way to get the food (aside from fruit) to upload and download in the gallery. Workaround note to get the food from the lots with food: I saved a ‘residence-room’ (in the gallery, called “Soul Cake Christmas Food”) with the food but needed to save the room as a residence. Plus you cannot get the food to remain in a room. ![]() I will add links to all of that information.īottom line, when saving to the library/gallery, to add dishes(food) to a lot you will have to cook them, not get them from debug, if you want the food to remain. There is also a forum where I shared the room and described the process. I didn't add the food to the bakery since it was for a challenge and if I added the food it would have raised the price over the budget. If memory serves, this is what I found to be needed when I made food for a themed room I made about a year and a half ago (since the food in it would disappear after upload) and for a bakery I made later. ![]()
